Two early morning moon sets a short time before the sunrise in September at Meditation Point a few days before a strong windstorm blew down the tree I used to frame the moon. Never think, oh I can go back and get it tomorrow or in a week. Nothing is so constant as change!
Random thoughts and observations, including photographs, in the tradition of a flaneur*: a stroller, a loiterer, a dawdler on street corners, a hanger-about who rambles through a city without any apparent purpose but is highly attuned to the history of the place and is in a constant covert search of adventure, esthetic or the exotic and erotic. Here is a photo from August 2 of this year (8/2/2018) of a half moon and one of many planes that pass over Meditation Point. This was shot before the sun rose.
I haven't posted here in years, so this is sort of a test. I have included a photo. Old posts show there is/was a photo but it is not visible. The first one shows two $5 bills I discovered early one morning at the base the large blocks facing Montrose beach. The other one was shot yesterday morning, 8/28/2018 at sunrise of Montrose Harbor looking south, not east at a non-event sunrise due to storm clouds. I also a photo looking west also showing the storm cloud approaching as well the last one looking directly north with sailboats in the harbor. Hope this test is successfully posted including the photos visible.
