Two early morning moon sets a short time before the sunrise in September at Meditation Point a few days before a strong windstorm blew down the tree I used to frame the moon. Never think, oh I can go back and get it tomorrow or in a week. Nothing is so constant as change!

at an inner-city nature preserve in the corner of a cemetery.

Here are a series of sunrise moments with seagulls reflected in unusually quite lake.
All are copyrighted.
All were shot with a Canon s100 pocket camera I carry in a pouch - bag under my bicycle seat.
Enjoy!

I usually bike along the lakefront early in the morning. This was from mid-September, 2018.

Here is a photo from August 2 of this year (8/2/2018) of a half moon and one of many planes that pass over Meditation Point. This was shot before the sun rose.

I haven't posted here in years, so this is sort of a test. I have included a photo. Old posts show there is/was a photo but it is not visible. The first one shows two $5 bills I discovered early one morning at the base the large blocks facing Montrose beach. The other one was shot yesterday morning, 8/28/2018 at sunrise of Montrose Harbor looking south, not east at a non-event sunrise due to storm clouds. I also a photo looking west also showing the storm cloud approaching as well the last one looking directly north with sailboats in the harbor. Hope this test is successfully posted including the photos visible.
